Hi I’ve been out of the loop for a year and a half. I have two armies to choose from to build a competitive list. necrons or chaos . When I was last involved the khorne deamonkin codex had just been released and necrons still only had the 7th ed codex. A lot has changed since then with new general rules overhaul a new necrons codex, the khorne deamonkin codex scrapped and a new death guard codex. I’m just wanting to pick your guys brains on what you thinks the most competitive list you think you can build ( or seen built) out there ( in regards to chaos space marines or deamons , necrons, death guard.) to help me decide money wise to invest in. Also if you could leave a vote on what you thinks the most competitive list you’ve used or come up playing against that would be great. 2000 pt list please. Thanks

My impression is that Necrons are currently in a poor competitive position; however with no updates in the Chapter Approved release its likely that a new Codex for them will be coming early in the new year - likely in January/February.
