what you guys think about that roster? Any comments? I decided that Wolf Guards with Stormbolters are much better than common GH with some plasmas. We also don't really need much CP, that's why I run Vanguard.

One thing that pops out is anti-tank, you have only one Combi melta and stormwolfs lascannon. If you play against heavy armour or knights, your in trouble.

Edit; nevermind, didnt see those longfangs lascannon or Björn

I am a pure wolves player and this is my 2 cents:

1.Grey hunters are better now with chapter approved cause they get objective secure and are 1 point cheaper, also you unlock the battalion (more CPs are always better, always!!!)

2. Always give Bjorn the twin las cannon, its the best load out

3.I would take Njal in termie armour any day over any psycher we got, cause he is great for his new points (153 pts)

4. Give those long fangs all lascannons in order to get the most out of them.

Now in 1500 points battalion with bjorn i tend to use 2 squads of longfangs instead of one and a stormwolf, and also i prefer wulfen as a pressure unit deployed with the new stratagem

Here is my 2 (1500pts) lists

Every list has the same core

3x5 Grey hunters (1xplasma each squad)

2xrazorbacks (twin assault cannon)

5xlongfangs (4xlascannon)

Njal in termie armour

5xwulfen (4xhammer/shield, 1xclaws leader)

The rest is either bjorn with twin las and another 5 man longfang squad with las cannons + some spare points for upgrades

OR

Logan grimnar and a stormwolf

With the release of Chapter Approved many SW units/loadouts received points drops and a few things become more expensive. Your razorbacks for example are now 114 points each. CPs are really handy, especially to re-roll some crappy results on the D6 damage of lascannons. The new outflanking stratagem is another gread add.

Hah, thank you guys! I forgot to remind you, that tournament will be played without Chapter Approved. That's why i can't use new strategems, points etc.!

@lonewolf. I totally agree with all your points, BUT. We're playing on full WYSIWIG mode. My Bjorn has only Assault/Helfrost Cannon options. I've got only 2 Lascannon Longfangs, and Njal without Termi armour, so i think he's not so good without mobility/deepstrike.
