I wanted to go for a new look on Primaris Marines as I slowly incorporate them into the Wolves. (With the new BA/DA kits hinting at an obvious SW equivalent, glad I only bought a 3 model quick build for paint test schemes).

Rather than a black/white under grey zenith highlight, I primed the model black and then used the "Space Wolf" Triad - spraying The Fang from slightly above the horizon, Russ Grey in a 45 degree cone from the top of the model and Fenris Grey in a narrower cone at about 20 degrees.

This was my first airbrush job on a figure that was anything more than a simple base coat, so I'm pretty happy with the results.

I paint in pretty much the same way. I base in my darkest armor color, then zenithal highlight with lighter ones.

Your brush work here is good, especially on the shoulders and knees. It's not easy to paint big, "flat" surfaces yellow like that and have it come out looking that good. However, when you airbrushed you did get quite a lot of speckling.
