So I purchased some secret weapon paints and washes and have been playing around with them. I'm happy with them all except for the gold wash, which I have no idea how to use properly.

Has anyone managed to use it to good effect? It's too thin to tint the underlying basecoat enough, and it's too light to shade a gold basecoat.

you might try emailing misterjustin@secretweaponminiatures.com I've not used that wash in particular so I can't really say a lot about it. Possibly you need a lighter basecoat? Only guessing sorry. Good luck!
