So idea for a list for a toruney

with abby its 9 cmd pts.
he drops down with the obits, they can obv re-roll to hit! and with slannesh can fire one of them again
Sorcerer drops with him for extra smith/hex maybe buff aby to 3++ (considering 1cp for him to take eye of night for additional d3 MW on vehicles)
Some horrors for bubble wrap on the knight from deep strikers and for some obj hugging + odd bit of dispel
DP in there for a bit off extra CC... pretty durable 9 wounds 2+ 5++ 5+ ignore (delightful agonies) then 6+ ignore (wl trait) and regains a wound every turn!!!
Knight there for even more dakka, worried this guy will suffer on the first turn.

thoughts?

Its basically blow them to pieces, re-rolling obilts on average do 9+ wounds to a rhino from one round of shooting and i have potentially 5 of those.

depend by meta you play in and missions, list is ok if you dont play against very heavy fire or knight risk leave the table 1st turn.

tourney organisers have started to make sure LoS blocking terrain is a thing... is my main concern though, with 12 drops i'll prob be on the back foot for FT rolloff.

do have 6 DS deploys though so should be in a fairy good position to get a good deployment spot for the knight to avoid some incoming fire

I think practically you have to accept the knight will die before you can use it in at least little under half the games. So you have to ask if the brims and oblits present enough of a threat.

My concern is after you deepstrike in the oblits if you get a few unlucky rolls you will be open to counter charge. The slaneesh and veterans of the long war can only be used on one set of oblits. You may be better served trying to fit changeling into this list, to benefit the brims and running some of those oblits as tzeentch.

Also be cautious trying to get abaddon in this list, remember rerolls before modifiers, if you are shooting at -2 to hit (standard for eldar competitive - with stratagem or using psyker etc.) you are not going to be rerolling as significantly.

The knight is a nice dual threat but you should also be prepared for seasoned players who bubble wrap and are capable at denying deep strike. You may not get the oblits on the table till round 2 or even 3.
