New codex roll in and I have an idea about what I might field. I will have my copy after Xmas, so I don't know the exact point values for new Blood Angels to this is only an approximation of my army list.

Battalion 1:
HQ:
- Captain relic JP, TH/SS - 129 pts
- Lieutenant JP, relic for bonus CP, power sword + chainsword - ~82 pts

Troops:
- 5x Intercessors w/ auto bolt rifles - 95 pts
- 5x scouts w/ camo cloaks, 4x sniper rifles, 1x missile luncher - 111 pts
- 5x scouts w/ astrates shotguns - 55 pts

Elites:
- 7x DC w/ JP, 2x chainsword + power sword, 5x bolt pistol + chainsword - 148 pts
- 5x vanguard vets w/ JP, power axe + ss on sgt, 4x dual lightning claws - 148 pts


Battalion 2
HQ:
- Mephiston - 145 pts
- Librarian w/ JP, power sword - 120 pts

Troops:
- 5x scouts w/ astrates shotguns - 55 pts
- 5x scouts w/ combat knives - 55 pts
- 5x scouts w/ combat knives - 55 pts


Air Wing Detachment:

Flayers:
- Stormraven - 2x hurricane bolters, twin lasscannon, twin heavy bolters - 321 pts
- Stormraven - 2x hurricane bolters, twin assault cannon, twin heavy bolter - 315 pts
- Stormhawk - 2x asasult cannon, Icarus stormcannon, Skyhammer missile luncher - 170 pts

This is 1999 pts and 10 CP

My warlord is a Captain and he gets FNP 5+ warlord trait.

The overal plan it that DC gets 3d6 charge from stratagem, vets go in stormraven, Captain and Lieutenant goes in another with one scout unit? Probably it will be turn 2 charge from both DC, vets and captain+lieutenant+mephiston with wings.

You are totally right! I don't know why I thought It is only HQ and troops req... So it will be 2x battalion with some changes. Still. What do you think about it?

I hadn't thought of something like this. Looks like a pretty good balance of shooting/chopping.

I'd change the snipers to more intercessors. But that's me.

That's 21 points to spend elswhere but to be honest sniper scouts unit if one of my two fully painted squads, so I really want them on the table

As for the requiremwnts for 2 battalions - which HQ do you suggest to use with this list? Some backfield captain for rerolls and counter charges? Or maybe sang priest to give my cc units a buff?

Maybe a second jump libby to do some unleash rage and smiting. Or Astorath/Lemartes for the DC.

Sounds cool too. Libby or priest I guess I will have to drop half of DC or one flier... But that's 1 CP and a lot of fire power...

I'd make the DC Bolter and chainsword with two weapon upgrades. And loose the claws on the vets

If this is geard towards competative play most events don't allow duplicate detachments etc however I like the synergy you have i don't like mephi in a raven as your missing out on more powers bump him grt another libby with jump pack 3 there is so many troops xD I'd cut to the minimum and take 5 man tacts with a Lascannon each or take big units of scout snippers and bunker with a captain to reroll ones however I do like it how is the stormhawk working for you??

So maybe dual chainswords vets? But in this case I can just take more DC

Edit: I don't know how stormhawkbis doing but I will be playing against tau/eldar/drucharii lots of the time so there will be flyers around and this is not for tourneys As for the mephi, he will be not in a Raven

Edit 2: I won't cut troops to 3 because I want 2 battalion dettachments. As for the tacs with lasscannon - that would rip off the spirit of the list. I have enough dakka in flyers. Scouts will be great in obj camping/deep strike denial/ and they are cheap

Ah OKies have you thought about a 15 man dc squad and going all boltguns instead of the bolt pistols guarantees more shots also if you want 2 battalions do a cheapy one with units that don't require the red thirst as much to get a normal libby for might of heroes power that way you get unleashed fury and also might of heroes on 2 units I do like mephiston but their is always no guarantee you get shield of sanguines and seems a waste of one power when a jump pack libby can arrive where ever he is needed also you can only get one battalion and an air wing as you are short one hq for 2 battalions

Yea, this is a first draft of the list. Earlier we were talking about adding jp libby but I don't know where to get points for it... I will update list when I am back home
