Hey all. So one of the issues I've been having with my Necrons is they're slow reaction to changes on the board. Its not exactly a new phenomena I know, but my local meta is starting to see armies which can zip across the board quite nicely, so I need to adapt. I have a couple of lists here with some (admittedly small) variations and wanted to get some feedback from the hive mind (no, no that Hive Mind :p). To preface, we largely play Open War but jump around it all really.

List 01 - Praetorians - 1998pts 7CP


List 02 - Tomb Blades - 1992pts 7CP


List 03 - Nightbringer - 1992pts 7CP

I think scarabs and wraith are the most powerful units in our codex. Tomb blades and pretorians are too expensive

I don't know if tomb blades are the firepower answer you are looking for or not. I don't understand the obsession some folks have with them.

Strap the Veil of Darkness, and keep a unit close to your Overlord to teleport to their end of the field late in the game to shake things up, and I'd focus on firepower to shoot down those fast targets instead of your own speed.

Main detachment looks fine. Second detachment nightbringer, wraiths, scarabs for sure!
