I’m completely new to Tyranids, but a friend of a friend is selling a ton of stuff for super cheap. I don’t really know much about building a nids list, but I know he wants to sell fast so I have to jump on this. Sadly, I cant buy everything he has, but I’m looking to start with the following:

10 x genestealers
10 x genestealers
2 x broodlords
30 x termagaunts (15 flesh, 15 devour)
30 x termagaunts (15 flesh, 15 devour)

Kinda like the idea of a swarm army.
After that, I’m not certain what to get. He has everything, so any ideas would be appreciated. I was thinking of going between 1500 - 2000 points.
I was thinking of using one tervigon (should I get two?) around the terms to buff their shooting and replenish numbers, use the genestealers with broodlords (is two too many) for melee and then grab a trygon and hive lord for fun.

Is this a list that would actully be decent?
Thoughts? Suggestions?

Units of 10 genestealers are useless. Go with one unit of 20, or 2 units of 16 if you want more.

Also useless to take 2 broodlords. You only need 1 to buff all your stealers so much better to get either a nuerothrope or flying Hive tyrant/swarmlord for second HQ.

Termies are great, but i'd take a full squad of devourers along with a Trygon for max effectiveness.

A squad of fleshborers is a great screening unit with their cheap price point.

20 genestealers - 240
Broodlord - 162

30 termies with devourers - 240
30 termies 15 borer, 15 dev - 180 (could maybe go straight borer)

Trygon - 175
Flyrant - 212
Tervigon - 242

So, this equals 1451 points with everything barebones excwpt for the termies.

I really like the idea of a tervigon with the termies to buff them and replenish their numbers.
Is she worth taking?

Depends on your " meta" AM is the top dog right now, and they Really feel a minus to hit .
