I've been a big fan of all things nurgle for a while, and with all the new nurgley goodness coming out, I got the itch to paint a plague lord thats been sitting on my desk for the better part of three years now. I got a bout 2/3 of the way done painting him and I hit a snag. I think he might look better with a shoulder pad on his right shoulder. I tried a few different ork shoulder pads I had lying around and though I would see what dakka thinks looks best, shoulder pad or no. Also open to other suggestions for shoulder pads. So let me know what you think!

Hold on. I think you should go for something bigger. Big shoulder pad may not seems very practical, but in my opinion looks better and this warrior deserves something bigger.
I have stole some spiky one and looks like this:

I like the look of that Pad hunter-sk, where did you find it?

I was not hoping that I'll find the source, because I have only image saved. You had luck:

Trolle have this shoulder pad.

But I don't know if it will help you. It looks like you have to sculpt it anyway.

Options 1 and 2 look too orky, they are too clearly from an ork kit. Option 3 looks more corroded and fitting for the model.
