Painting Genesis Chapter space marines with an airbrush, my first attempt highlighting with an airbrush. Obviously there are many ways to do red but I was wondering what your opinion is on doing a specific kind of red. I'm trying to get a fairly medium red and want to avoid orange or pink. I'm trying to replicate either of the colors in the images below. What are your suggestions on achieving this?

This one is slightly orangey on the highlights which I could live with but prefer keeping as much red as possible.

My first idea was something like:

Shadows: VMA Hull Red
Base: VGA Gory Red
High 1: VGA Bloody Red
High 2: White
Glaze: Thinned Bloody Red over White

The VGA reds seem slightly orange when I look at them at the store but I may be mistaken. Also considered doing the highlighting with black, grey, and white, then covering with a red ink. So yeah any suggestions? Primarily trying to stick with airbrush ready paints if possible.
