Happy New Year all.
I've just started out a small Rotbringers project to dip my feet for Age of Sigmar. As someone with a relatively rubbish attention span, I thought to put together a scheme largely consisting of glazes over a white undercoat without much highlighting (which I'm terrible at).
Here's the result of the first miniature. Please ignoring how messy the base is, as it's still a work in progress. In hindsight I wish I'd kept the skull lighter.
Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the result considering it only took about 2 hours. Not my best work, but efficient enough to actually get through a number of them.
Thanks for reading, feel free to give any feedback.
In case anyone is interested, the recipe is as follows:
1. Prime white
2. Basecoat with Rakarth Flesh
3. Armour with Death Guard Green
4. Metallics (Leadbelcher and Balthasar Gold)
5. Bone, fur, fabric, etc. glaze with 50:50 mix of Seraphim Sephia mixed and Lahmian Medium
6. Gorthor brown for the armour strap, dryad bark for the wood
7. Go back over any bone, fur or fabric parts you want darker adding in Agrax Earthshade to the mix
8. Glaze skin with 50:50 mix of Reikland Flesh Shade and Lahmian Medium
9. Agrax Earthshade over the amour, wood, strap and metals
10. Thinned Canadora Yellow/ Druchii Violet for the sores, wounds, etc
11. Highlight sores with thinned Rakarth Flesh, then Pallid Wych Flesh
