So I've been painting up various GW fantasy miniatures and I've gotten to some Chaos Warriors. I want some marauders to go along with them but the old marauder minis are... not good. Even when they came out they were kind of lackluster and now they seem even worse compared to newer stuff.

So I was thinking of taking some Bloodreavers and just doing a conversion: get rid of some of the more overt Khorne symbols and spikes, add some marauder shields and maybe some weapon swaps. I've also thought about giving them some torso armor, but it seems like that would take a bit more sculpting.

I'm trying to come up with other ideas to spice things up and make the converted marauders a little more distinct. I'd appreciate any thoughts you guys might have.
