Hello DakkaDakka!

I’m working on a university masters project, and I need your help to gather data for my research.

This survey might take some time to since it mostly asks open-ended questions regarding your opinion of WH40k franchise as a whole, but I would sincerely appreciate it if you help me out.

Also, I understand that some questions ask about more... polarizing topics in WH40k. If you would like to inform me about anything, simply tell me at the end of the survey.

Here is the survey link [ Warhammer 40,000 - Survey ]

Edit : The survey is now closed. Thank you for helping, everyone!

Thank you in advance!

Just a quick note : I will disclose the survey result in this thread after some weeks, depending on amount of survey takers.

Done. Your location choices a little weird, UK gets its own seperate entry but Australasia, the middle east and Russia get "other"?

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

A lot of questions about the 40k movie. I honestly don't remember that movie very much.

Why did you have to give me flashbacks of the Ultramarine movie.

I make bad decisions and think they are good.

I feel personally offended that some island in the North Atlantic gets its own specific choice as a location, but my entire continent gets lumped under ‘other’.

I mean I might understand if I lived in Antarctica, but we’re not that remote...

Did it.

Guardsmen, hear me! Cadia may lie in ruin, but her proud people do not! For each brother and sister who gave their lives to Him as martyrs, we will reap a vengeance fiftyfold! Cadia may be no more, but will never be forgotten; our foes shall tremble in fear at the name, for their doom shall come from the barrels of Cadian guns, fired by Cadian hands! Forward, for vengeance and retribution, in His name and the names of our fallen comrades!

That island in the North Atlantic is home to the creators of the franchise in question, as well as the survey creator apparently. That may bear some significance.

Australia/Oceania would've been a good option though, if nothing else to see how much more... err, "agitated" people there are over GW's prices.

I honestly dont see how a 40K/ 30K setting would be an issue, except maybe due to complication.
But its certainly doable. LotR and Star Wars are decently complicated universes but theyre still easily navigable.
