Since you need to share keywords to be battleforged, it is legal to have Khorne and Chaos be similar keywords in a single detachment to allow the use of Daemons and CSM in the same group? Or does the detachment need to be of the same codex altogether?

Just one keyword shared is needed. So you could have a 'Chaos' detachment or a 'Khorne' detachment. But you will notice the more specialized keywords (Khorne in this case) comes with extra strategems and detachment wide abilites which are only triggered if everything in the detachment has 'Khorne' keyword.

So the only thing I miss out on is Legion tactics?
