I’ve been using this freepeople list for a while now, and I’ve tweaked it enough so that it’s a really deadly list to my regular gaming group.

I thought I’d throw it up here to see what you guys make of it, as I’ll be using it in tourneys pretty soon.

Leaders:

General on warhorse with sigmarite weapon, shield, indomitable trait and armour of meteoric iron

Celestial hurricanum with battlemage

Gunmaster

Battle line:

20 guard with swords and shields

20 guard with swords and shields

20 handgunners

Artillery:

Great cannon

Hellstorm rocket battery

Behemoth:

Steamtank

Other units:

20 greatswords

I’ve found making the 2 sword units and the gunners the great company they work really well together.
The general stays close enough to every unit to give bonuses (hold the line and indomitable) but mainly near greatswords.
Hurricanum floats in the mid line supporting with shemtek and buff.
Cannon sits with engineer and close to hurricanum
Rocket battery usually somewhere near hurricanum, use it as a hero sniper.
Steamtank pretty much just goes for the other deadly units and characters.

Now I used to turtle this army heaps, but I’ve found its main strength is in its aggressiveness. Most players don’t expect me to xo e charging and think they can just easily topple them, but I hardly lose battle shock.

I know most of my units will take a hit in the first round and aren’t that effective straight away, but usually the next one around the general barks his orders and my stuff becomes a force to be reckoned with.

Cannon and hellstorm snipe heroes. I pretty much just snipe heroes with all my shooting, once they are gone I concentrate down the ladder.

Let me know what you think.

Too many armies to count now.. mainly all 40k and AoS

Cleanse, Purge, Kill.
