So the SM Primaris Intercessors squad from GW are the new SM Tac Squad? No Grav Gun with that set and the old SM Tac Squad is no longer available. So thought?

They are not tactical squads they do not get grav guns.

Intercessors are a new Space Marine unit, not Tactical Marines.

Why would they? The current Tac set is fine.

Grav Guns aren't an option for the Intercessors. I'm not a Space Marine player, so I don't know which kits have them and which units can take them, but not Intercessors at least.

GW US site has no SM Tac Squads listed. The only way to get a current SM Tac Squad with Grav Guns off the US GW site is to buy a SM Battleforce box set....

That is very odd, the Tactical Marine box should be up there but is not even listed, it's certianly still on the UK site.

To make things clear, Intercessers and Tac Marines are completely different units with different rules and different weapon options (or no options in the Primaris case), at present one is not replacing the other. What GW intends to do with them in the future is anybodies guess but I imagine it'll be years before we find that out.

Plasma is the new grav.

Not at all. Intercessors are NOT Tacticals. They are an entirely new unit.

It is possible that GW stop releasing Marine kits other than Primaris. It is possible they stop even selling Marine kits other than Primaris. We don't know the future, they have not said anything about their plans in this regards.

IF (and it's a big IF) they stop selling Tactical squads, and IF Intercessors are the nearest equivalent in battlefield role in their absence... Even if these two things we have no idea about are true, that still does not mean Intercessors will ever get Grav weapons. Sure it's possible, but currently there absolutely no evidence this would happen, or any reason to infer that a Primaris unit would get any kind of gear based purely on what completely separate non-Primaris units get.

I don't know for certain but when units have disappeared from the website in the past it has usually just been a stocking issue. Give it a little while and they will probably be back. Phone them up if you want a definitive answer.

Other OOS / stock thread, please move on. Primaris are not direct replacements for SM for hte foreseeable future.

Dude, you're so far behind the game.on this one you should just start going through the lexicanum and 1d4chan until you have a solid base of knowledge.

You're missing so much information it's really genuinely difficult to convey it all here.

You could just buy the dark angels, or blood angels tactical squads. They have enough regular pauldrons to make a generic squad, and some of the upgrade bits like swords and such look cool.
