Which one of the four would make for the most fun/competitive mono God list?

Loyal Necron Lychguard

Nurgle or Tzeentch. Both have the tools to be competitive without outside help.

...Have you even read the Codex? Tzeetch got bent over. Khorne or Nurgle are the two comeptitive ones as far as people can tell, bloodletter bomb being a terrifying prospect.

In what way did tzeentch get screwed? Not disagreeing just wondering. Also what kind of build what be viable for khorne and Nurgle?

All my dead Blood Angels would disagree on Tzeentch being screwed.

Their main source of bubblewrap got nerfed (brimstones are now 6++ instead of 4++, and Changelng got nerfed pretty bad as well. In general they're pretty ok as an army, but not at all competitive anymore. They also ironically enough have some fairly modest Psyker powers, and their Loci is next to useless compared to the other 3.

Some Tzeentch power builds got screwed, but when you have 30 Pink Horrors putting out 90 S5 shots with +1 to wound...

I'd still say other armies are better, Nurgle specifically. With the new stratagems, Khorne gets in their face by turn 1 and slaughters. A lot less armies can deal with melee charges than you'd think.

Not to mention a 4++ at a dirt cheap price for the power and survivability ratio they have. Tzeentch went from having 100+ models on the board to still having a lot but they are each individually more powerful. Especially with the Locus. I'm not even going to try and fathom the rage-inducing effects of having the old Brimstones with the new Tzeentch buffs...

This idea that nothing is worthwhile unless it's OP and being brought to balanced makes something "unplayable" is stupid and what makes 40k awful.

Brimstone spam was ridiculous and OP.

Korne gets in turn 1.... just to charge some cheap screens unless ur opponent is a lobotomized monkey.. then you explode under fire and countercharges (for example a chaos with 12-15 oblys+Abbadon, just to make an example), scouts might mess any kind of 1st turn charge, you just need a capable opponent, we already testing Korne "bombs" and doesn't work all alone, you need support, Tz is the best support for Korne, with horrors and/or flamers removing screening units.
Korne alone could work fine against armies which cant have an appropriate number of expedable screening units or mediocre medium/short range fire. Last time we tested against a whole mechanized guard (5 LR,pask some cheap infantry squads and so on) with plasma squads in AiP, and the slaugher wasn't for Korne... this is at least in ETC high competitive environment
