I'm about to paint up my two priests for 30k and I was trying to remember if they had any alternate markings or livery that they wear. I vaguely remember the rune priest Kva in Wolf king wearing white but iirc that was personal heraldry, if anyone remembers any descriptions from any of the novels that would be great as I don't want to wait until I've re read prospero burns, a thousand sons, wolf king and leman russ, the great wolf to paint my models.

Earliest SW 'priests' were commissar-like officers meant to put down any misbehaving trooper like a mad dog. If you really want a variant livery, you can do Terran SW inspired by this:

Sheesh, it's no wonder that in the Dornian Heresy alternate reality fiction, having the Space Wolves fall to Khorne rather than the World Eaters just felt...right.

I would do them in mostly-Legion Colours, with a few elements - shoulder pads, cloaks, etc - in black (for Wolf Priests) or covered in runes (Rune Priests). That's what I'm doing with the Librarian, Chaplain and Apothecary in my Emperor's Children. Harks back to 1st edition colour schemes, too.
