Hello! I am currently trying to pain my Lizardmen and I'm am wanting to get as close to the official Saurus colour scheme as possible. Normally this would be esaliy rectified by just buying the official paints but the store near me doesn't have Coelia Greenshade. I don't really have the money to play $27 in shipping so I was wondering if there is another wash that I could use/make to achieve the same effect?

Green tone with a splash of blue tone from Army Painter is a good bet - my recommendation would be to get all of the Army Painter washes, I have tried many washes but these are the ones I like the most. For a comparison:

I really can't speak highly enough of the Army Painter washes.

The Army Painter green isn't anywhere near Coelia, adding blue would cetainly be the best approach to bringing it round. It's actually one of the few GW paints I own as in all my extensive searching I've never found a similar wash/ink.

Secret Weapon may have something more directly analogous because their range is pretty large, but I've not found many pictorial examples of what their washes look like online for verification.

Hi everyone!

sockwithaticket:
This is an old thread, but I would be interested to know which GW paints you have decided to stick with, because of not finding them at Army Painter. Coelia is, indeed, complicated to reproduce, I have not succeeded to reproduce it with ArmyP. I'm interested to know which others you have found.

I'm in the same situation, with a big collection from Army Painter, and I'm not fond of changing the whole palette because of the many tutorials which are based on Citadel GW paintings.
