”The throne is failing, it cannot be fixed,” the Lord High Tech stated sadly, his tinny voice small and quiet.

“We have known this for millienium,” A firm, gruff voice stated from behind its iron mask. “The Emperor knew this day would come from the moment he was placed upon the Golden Throne.”

“If I have not been called to fix the throne, then, why am I here?” The Lord High Tech stated.

The armored suited form he faced quietly pointed to one of the two massive two titans that flanked the throne. Their mighty heads were level with the tower upon which the throne stood. Their eyeless gaze was fixed on the trio and the Lord High Tech felt uneasy at the sounds of the machines, labored, mechanical breathes - exhalations that were accompanied by blasts of steam as the dangling pipes that connected to their power supplies shuddered at each heaving breath.

“One last Crusade,” the armored figure stated between titanic breaths. “The Emperor has made known his will.”

The Lord High Tech paused in uncertainty. “Last Crusde?” He inquired, as if he had not heard incorrectly.

“The Emperor has communed with us,” his lone companion relayed. “The Eye of Terror has opened wide and his vulture sons have begun their slow circle on the dying corpse of mankind.” He paused, glancing to the sickened, skeletal form hidden amid needles and tubes. “He refuses to sit idle and leave the fate of mankind to his naecant children.”

The armored form met the Lord High Tech’s mechanically augmented goggled gaze and icily decreed, “The Emperor demands to stride forth once again into battle, at the helm of

....

So, we have the fabled Emperor Titans. What if the Emperor were to have his golden throne reconfigured so that he could once again march forth, in one of the two titans that gaurd the Sanctum Imperialis? On top of it being a titan “the height of Mount Everest”, it would also be a psychic titan. What would this thing be capable of? How could they get it off the planet?

It would mean the end of the Imperium as nothing would prevent Terra (and subsequently the Astronomican) to be engulfed into a warp rift.

Any god emparor Titan would be the target of every chaos God ever. But it would would doom impirum his death the astroconuim fails. The warp beacon gone. The impirum dies unless he can somehow drive chaos back from imperial space in the warp....?

Or reborn as full god... In which again no astroxium though protected by a god. There warp routes may be calmed.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

"May the odds be ever in your favour"

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.
