Ok. I usually play 2000 point games, but am about to play a few 1500 point matches with some buddies. I’m trying to cram some of my favorite SW index options in front of a stationary cadian gun line. I didn’t have a codex in front of me so point value is really close to 1500...

So.... the dream here that the Cadians lascanons are going to be made to look like the defensive satellite looking laser canons from empire strikes back. For now, they get to be boring regular green Cadians, because that’s that I’ve got!
Regardless. The Lascanon Fire is unpleasant. Nothing large can ignore that. As long as the company commander is alive, those squads are mean. The space wolf force can play numerous roles, but the cadians ALWAYS have to cram together and make a stand somewhere in the deployment zone. Geberally the tanks, bikes and bjorn are a mobile infantry death possy, the wulfen are a nasty potential first turn charge with the outflanking shenanigans. The large grey Hunter squad attempts to screen for the guard blob and hold home objectives... against a scary melee horde (nid) there is no advancing force. Everything sort of holds back.
Thoughts?
