My latest army is a Knights of Blood renegade army using bitz from both loyal and chaos kits. When I want to run loyal Blood Angels I wanted to try some speeder fun. So how would you paint up a LS storm? Mostly dark silver ( I have a mixed pot that i liked for the marines) but what parts would you make red?

I'll post a marine pic shortly but they have red eagles,pads, helmet and the top of the back pack. The rest is dark silver.

Heres what i have going color wise. No shading or highlights yet

I would say to paint the lower half of the speeder in the metal (Looks very similar to our INSTAR Dull Pewter Metallic) and then do the upper parts in the red.

It's a very striking colour scheme though, really like it!

So i decided to do this

Pretty close to what I was imagining, the only things that was in my head was doing the front (bonnet? Is it a bonnet?) in red as well.

Thanks, yeah I thought of the bonnet (hood in 'Murica) but that's like the chest with the eagle so that stayed silver, the wings are like the pads, and the top "spoiler" like the top of the backpack.
