I'm facing an Orks list this week with my Khorne Daemons, and I honestly can't decide what to bring. Im not making a list to destroy him, I know Khorne naturally have the advantage in CC. But what should I bring as the meat of my army at 1000 points?

I have basically everything for Khorne Daemons save for a Soulgrinder (already own a Defiler), gargoyles, and Juggerherald. Otherwise, ive got everything in spades. Should I spam Letters? Flesh Hounds? Crushers? Whats your thoughts? To keep my list not OP, I am NOT going to be deepstriking anything. I want to make it a fair game.

What kind of orks list are you going to face? A green tide?

Against greentides you usually don't need deepstrikers, unless you can teleport a cheap unit that unleashes tons of anti infantry shots in front of the boyz.

Personally, as soon as I see the word "spam", I think "don't do that".

Because I like pretty much any of the Khorne models, but the issue is that against 6+ saves and 4T, they all vaguely do the same thing, making it straddle redundency to take a bit of everything.

Maybe include a few Skull Cannon (the Khorne big Cannon chariot thing, not sure the name is right)? You might want a few shooty high strength thing just in case the Orks run Boyz in Trukk.

It really depends on your opponents list. If he has an optimized green tide list, then he will have no problem steam rolling you in CC. He might also deepstrike 120 models in his own first turn, all though those kind of list are pretty rare. If he has a varied and fluffy list, then you can take anything and be pretty certain of victory.

If I were you, I would just field what you like playing the most. Bring bloodletters if you like them. They are pretty much a poor man's boyz.
