Subject: War and Empire II Dark Ages 15mm Historical Kickstarter - Live
Westwind/Forged in Battle are doing their 3rd kickstarter for 15mm historical models. I've not backed one of their kickstarters before but I have bought the some of the range produced by their kickstarters at retail. They're very nice for historical 15mms and most packs come with a good range of sculpts. Currently they have Anglo-Saxons, Normans, Vikings, Late Romans, Huns and Palmyrans funded with a fairly ambitious timespan to cover. Justinian Byzantines and Arabs are the next two stretch goals and the two armies I would like. They are also offering a ruleset as an optional extra.
Welcome to "Dark Ages" a comprehensive, modern and high quality range of 15mm pewter Ancients miniatures for gaming. This is Phase III of the War & Empire project.
We are running this Kickstarter to help fund the cost of moulding and production for Part III of the War & Empire project, which will allow us to add to the existing range.
This range will cover the armies from the decline of Rome in the fourth century to the rise of Byzantium. Our range ends with the battle of Manzikert in 1071 and the decline of the Byzantine Empire.

It's going fairly well I think. Justinian Byzantines and Arabs are unlocked. Justinian might be changed for one of his famous generals following some discussion. Since both the armies I want are now unlocked I'm off to figure out what packs I will need to build them.
