Death-Dealing Devastator

I was originally intending to modify a Scout Biker heavy list of White Scars I made ages ago to incorporate the many synergies that the Blood Angels get, which are just freakin awesome. There were so many things I wish Marines got that I found in the Blood Angels Codex I just had too. Ended up with a lot of HQ units I just couldn't resist though. But I'm looking forward to seeing if this list works as well on the table as it does on a spreadsheet.
HQ: - 624pts
Mephiston
Dante
Sanguinary Priest on Bike - Teeth of Terra*
Sanguinor
Elites: - 85pts
Culexus Assassin
Heavy Support: - 276pts
Hunter - Stormbolter
Hunter - Stormbolter
Hunter - Stormbolter
Troops: - 309pts
Tactical Squad x5 - LC, Sgt w/Fusion Pistol & Power Axe
Tactical Squad x5 - LC, Sgt w/Fusion Pistol & Power Axe
Tactical Squad x5 - LC, Sgt w/Fusion Pistol & Power Axe
Fast Attack: - 702pts
Scout Biker x9 - Sgt w/Fusion Pistol
Scout Biker x9 - Sgt w/Fusion Pistol
Scout Biker x9 - Sgt w/Fusion Pistol
Total 1996ptspts, 8CP - 1CP for Culexus as an extra unit
Between extra attacks from Sanguinor, extra S from the Sang Priest, Rerolls from Dante, their awesome Chapter Trait, this force should be pretty gnarly in CC, really shooty, fast, 6 Anti Tank guns with 6 Fusion pistols for close in anti tank/anti Character hits, I'm thinking this might work. Between Meph and the Assassin enemy psykers will be gimped a bit too. Plus all the Characters are fast. I won't be able to actually field this for ages, but if anyone has something similar or some feedback on anything I might have missed that makes this a bad idea I'm all ears. Thanks.

How is your Sanguinary Priest getting the Teeth of Terra? We don't have that in the Blood Angels book. And although Scout Bikes are sweet, you are missing out on pretty much everything that gives the BA Codex it's power... the Strategems.
Your list doesn't make use of the things that help BA win on the tabletops (Jump Pack units), and there is really no need to put an Inferno Pistol on squads that will likely be immobile since they are equipped with Lascannons. The pistols only have a 6" range, and with no way to cart them forwards (Rhinos, Razorbacks or Stormravens), or reason to since the Lascannon will be at minus 1 to hit, they are a points sink.
I really think that the bike oriented Chapter Tactics/Strategems will serve you better than the Blood Angels ones will. Once your guys are locked in combat they will have no way to fall back and shoot or charge.

You cant give the sanguinary priest the teeth of terra. Dante overpriced. Sanguinor overpriced. Better use lemartes and DC. You dont have a lot of CC units, you are not taking real advantage of the red thirst. I guess you mean inferno pistols, not fusion pistols. Better replace them with plasma pistols with the TAC, or a storm bolter to add some range. Scout bikers can inflict mortal wounds on 2+ when they fall back with a stratagem, not a bad choice. You have 8 CP but almost nothing to use it on. Swap a LC against a RL to use the flakk missile stratagem. Get a HB to use the hellfire shells stratagem. If you save some points and add another HQ (techmarine is cheap, and can repair your hunters) you can get another spearhead detachment with the three hunters.

The tac squads loadouts are a mistake imo, you have what 120 points worth of upgrades on t4 1W models that will probably be dead by the end of the first turn. I would drop all of the upgrades from those squads and use them as screens for your tanks and bikes.
I don't think the sanguinor is really worth taking in this list, your units aren't really going to be getting much from the +1A bonus so I'd drop him too.
That'll give you 290~ points
Add in a sanguinary ancient, and give him the relic banner for fnp bubble to help keep your bikes alive.
Buy meph a drop pod, Yeah I know they're expensive and he's just one dude. But he's the chief badassmotherfucker in the BA codex and deserves to ride in style. Meph likes drop pods, make him happy and he'll make you happy. After all that you'll have about a hundred points left over so buy him a small entourage so he doesn't get lonely in your opponents backlines. Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh yeah, one more thing....
Take a company commander, make him your warlord and put him in a detachment with the assassin and the hunters.
Give him the warlord trait that gives you cp back on a 5+ Automatically Appended Next Post: Ahh damn, can't take the banner relic if the warlord isn't BA... Anyway there's some ideas for ya. Make sure you have something expendable to screen those hunters

Dont get a drop pod for mephiston. Dont get a drop pod for anyone, they are garbage. Meph can pretty much move across the entire battlefield in two turns. He moves 7" + 3,5" advance (if needed) + wings of sanguinius 12". With quickening he gets +3" to advance in the next movement phase. Next turn he still can move 12" with wings of sanguinius, advance 3,5"+3" for quickening. In the psychic phase he casts wings again and moves 12" again. Thats 54" in two turns. Plus 2d6 charge.
You can buy the banner relic for 1 CP if your warlord is not BA. Dont forget you get a free relic for the company commander, if he is your warlord. Gets kurovs aquila to roll when your opponent spend 1 CP, on 5+ you get 1 CP. You can also buy the veritas vitae to roll for CP when you use a stratagem, but the second relic for BA would cost 3 CP.

p5freak, Mephiston can't charge and advance in the same turn. Still, Wings of Sanguinius is the best way to get him around the board. He is damn fast with it.

Right, no charge after advancing. Even without advancing he is damn fast.

Exactly. Advancing is totally unnecessary, he will rocket around the board. I am adding Mephiston into my own BA list for this reason. The problem is making sure that he doesn't end up completely out in the open.

I rarely have an issue with my Mephiston not getting to where he needs to be to cleave things in half.
If your running Death Company with jump packs, he can keep up with them, and often surpass them when they deep strike in unless you are dropping them behind your enemy.
He also doesn't need to be the first wave. Rushing him in first turn has gotten him killed in my games before he does anything important. I use him as a second wave, because at that point most paths to the important bits of an enemies army are clear.
Don't bother with a drop pod, unless you like wasting money amd points.
