Hey everyone
Just a quick (and probably silly) question here. I have 3 cans of spray paint that I bought along with a friends bulk order for free shipping, all 3 cans came to about £10 in total, less than the cost of a single
GW or Vallejo can which is why I bought them. It doesn't say anywhere that they are priming though, so I want to ask people's opinions on using them as a base coat layer.
The cans are:
Dope 400 Classic - White
Flame Blue (Low Pressure) - Black
Ironlak Sugar - Purple
The website does have a specific "Primer" section so I doubt I can use the above for an initial basecoat but I thought I'd ask anyway, just to be sure. I also wanted to ask, if I get a primer, what type should I get? Are
WH40k models plastic, polystyrene-based (I've heard some models are this but there's no official info anywhere from
GW) or a special type of resin?
Finally, if I buy a "The Army Painter Colour Primer" spray paint can, how good are they? Are they worth the ~£12.50?
Thanks!
