DPs will need to do the heavy lifting of killing other big nasty things, where they'll have an Invulnerable Save, I find Death Hex will serve better than Prescience.
Thanks for the input. I'm hesitant to use Deathhex as it goes off on an 8+ and the odds aren't great... My experience has been whenever I 'need" it to go off I roll like a 1 and a 2 and even the reroll doesnt' save me. Prescience has a lower warp charge and the +1 to hit helps a lot against armies with huge negative to hits - also allows the bloat drones to be a little more useful and get the blight lords to land more hits and maximize the use of the virulent / blades stack. It sounds stupid because of the
WC value change is only one, but if i'm not mistaken it goes from WC7 58% (more likely than not to go off, plus possibility of reroll) to WC8 41% (More likely to not go off on average cast). It becomes hard to rely on an ability where it is more likely to not go off.
I'd be willing to playtest it - I've heard from every competitive person ever that death hex is practically broken/must take - but personally had very little success with it unless coming off of magnus with significant + to cast.
I think the bloat drones can also kill big nasties pretty easily with fly.If they have prescience and reroll ones they are going to hit an average of 7 mower attacks, wounding on 2's (if blades/putrescent) rerolling 1's with -2
AP and doing 6 damage on 5+'s (double damage, mortal wound and nurgle locus).. Rotigus and Typhus can throw down as well but suffer from abyssmal mobility - the alternative is to go with smite spam which the army can surprisingly dish pretty well.
