Hi guys, newbie here

i'll be facing eldar craftworlds with my space marine army and i was wondering which space marine units/weapons are good against them. which strategy should i follow against them?
i' playing raven guard so i thought about having a gun line with dreads or devastators plus a lieutenant, some tacticals to hold the line and then shrike with some assault veterans to deep strike. is that a good idea against craftworlds?
cheers!

edit: forgot to mention we will play at around 800 points.

Deep striking could potentially be a problem, assuming the Eldar have a unit to take advantage of Forewarned. You might be better off burning some CP to SftS so that you can deploy more than 12" away and then use your move to get in their faces. I don't know a lot about Eldar, but a gunline seems like a decent idea with our -1 to hit. What kind of detachments are you thinking? Just a battalion?

Unfortunately that's not a legal battalion, as you need another HQ. I'd probably drop some points (maybe the sniper scouts with cloaks, change them to standard scouts; then drop heavy bolters from the devastators until you have the points) and fit in a lieutenant. You want someone to be buffing those devastators, if you're going to have Shrike with the Vets. It's a lot of CP, but I'd probably use SftS on both units of vets and Shrike to help ensure you don't get blasted off the table the moment you arrive. This depends on what the Eldar player is bringing though; if you don't need to worry about Forewarned Dark Reapers or something similar, deep striking is more viable.

If you want to fit in a dreadnought, I think you need to drop a unit of Devastators, but that may be giving up a lot. As it stands this list makes the enemy's anti-tank guns basically worthless, but if you add in a dread it's going to draw a lot of fire.

If you have the minis, dropping the Intercessors for another unit of scouts would also save you some points.
