Can anybody recommend a good bright lamp which will clamp onto my desk and is able to be manoeuvred into different positions?

I’ve seen one on amazon but it’s £90 and the reviews aren’t amazing.

I bought a rechargeable one off amazon, with an integral magnifier, but the battery life sucks :(.

Dunno about the UK but amazon has a ton of clamp on desk lamps. some even have magnifying glasses.

I personally use an old one of these with a stupidly sized tru light led flood bulb.

its pretty much overkill but i like it.

I use this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01EFUNISQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It doesn't clamp but it has a large base for balance and is very maneuverable. Also has varying degrees of brightness and coloured output (daylight, yellow light etc.)

It's cheap enough to get a pair of an £9ea and will hold a standard 60w ES daylight bulb.
You'll get a great setup for under £30.
I've had mine for years.
