So does the combo work? I think it does and cant see any rulings which specifically state cloud of flies cant be applied in the end phase when deep strike is activated.

I would like to know if its played this way at itc or lvo etc etc. If its not legal at tournies i generally dont play strategies that only work in casual.

I'd say its fine. Its the end of the phase so you are still 'in' the phase.

Take it the idea is you DS something between an inf unit and the enemy then put CoF on that inf unit so the deep striker protects them
