Hey all, been playing recently with my Csm and just recently picked up the demon codex and some demon models. My question is if I want to say have a demon army, could I add possessed and obliterators to the army because they have the demon and chaos keyword? I'm not sure if they have to be in a seperate Csm detachment or they can be included into the demons detachment.

Army construction hinges on the Daemon Faction keyword, which has been removed from all CSM units.

There is some cross-buffing that can occur with Daemonic troops, but as far as army construction and stratagems, you lose your detachment bonus and stratagem access if you include the CSM troops.

Thanks! I figured as much! Currently on turn 2 using a full khorne demon list against the wife's eldar and its not looking good, very little shooting for me and I cant keep anything she has locked in combat because of fly, gonna be a tough one!

course you can field multiple detachments, such as a battalion of Lhorne demons working alongside a battalion of world eaters
