Just saw this not too long ago:

Bow down to Guilliman for he is our new God Emperor!

Martel - "Custodes are terrible in 8th. Good luck with them. They take all the problems of marines and multiply them."

"Lol, classic martel. 'I know it was strong enough to podium in the biggest tournament in the world but I refuse to acknowledge space marines are good because I can't win with them and it can't possibly be ME'."

DakkaDakka is really the place where you need anti-tank guns to kill basic dudes, because anything less isn't durable enough.

I was hoping the dudes with those laser gun/Bolters would be previewed as the army would appreciate something like that.

They look interesting. I don't have any custodies yet but plan to one day and maybe may get some forge world models for them as well. Saw the page on Warhammer Community and it said that these rules are planned for a future imperial armor book. The Custodes don't really have a lot of units, at least not enough to fill an index so what else could be in it? Mechanicum perhaps...

Right? That's literally the only unit I wanted to see

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

They're probably gonna have heavy bolter statlines.

Thats enough to be honest. A combi heavy bolter/disintegration gun (Like the one of the Imperial Space Marine).

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

especially as theyd'd be firing at at BS +2 so almost no reason not to fire both all the time

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

If you fire your combi weapon at the same time, you can fire both "weapons" at different targets?

Nope.

I’m excited about the Exemplar dread which seems to be an equivalent to the Telemon and the transport grav tank.

the exemplar dread is the achillus without the dreadspear. check the comparison to the achillus, and the arm weapons match the achillus' SB/HF/Adrathic options perfectly.

The exemplar also does not have anything to do with the carapace weapon.
