Hi everyone!

My name is Hugo and I have painted and collected miniatures since my early teens.

I started collecting Ork back in 3rd edition of 40k, I really enjoyed converting all manner of units and vehicles that existed in the codex but didn't have models.
Then when I entered my late teens I guess I thought parties and girls where more important than plastic army men and I fell into a period of dark ages that lasted several years.

It was in my early 20s when I had finish school and started working that I found out that a group of friends of mine had starting playing Warhammer Fantasy (8th ed) and I jumped right in.
I built up a descent sized lizardmen army and then started playing and painting other games as well such as Warmachine (I have a pretty large Khador force), Malifaux and Infinity.
Did a little dip in 40k around 6th edition but it didn't stick.

Now I'm ready to dive into 40k yet again with the new edition, I'm liking a lot of what I'm hearing about it.
I'm very excited of the prospect of building up a new army. There's something special about it.

I've chosen Adeptus Mechanicus as my new force to start with because I LOVE their model range.

I'm mostly into the painting and hobby aspect of the game and will hang out mostly in those parts of the forums. I tend to chose units that looks cool and makes sense thematically over what is most optimal on the battlefield.

Hope to see you around and see you in the P&M blogs!

/Hugo
