I think someone set up something like this a while ago for Marines (I think), but I am interested in setting up an exchange program for painted Guardsmen.
So here's what I'm thinking. You list the name of your faction and the model you're sending as well as any other bio information that you would like to provide, and then the next person that is interested posts in the thread and
PMs you with their shipping information. You then ship to that person. The next person then posts, and the cycle repeats.
Because I know many people can potentially post at the same time, I will watch the thread and update this post with who should be shipping to who. You can provide a picture of the model you're shipping, but that's not obligatory. I'd like to keep the models as generic as possible, so lets just stick to regular dudes with lasguns. It's fine if you want to do something more elaborate like an officer or special weapon, but make sure that you specify if you're doing something different. I'm also going to say that plain black bases are preferred so that people can base as appropriate to their own army; this IS an exchange program after all, and your troops are fighting with another army, not your own.
I'll start by shipping the first one, and I guess if/when the thread starts to die off, the last person should ship to me.
In the interests of keeping costs low, I'm going to suggest that this gets limited to US contiguous for the time being, but I'd be interested in hearing opinions on expanding it to include Canada/Worldwide.
So, anyway, I offer a guardsman!

Automatically Appended Next Post: Also, I'm going to say that the point of this to let everyone have fun and delight at someone else's effort and pass that on. As such, absolutely no one should feel excluded. Even if you don't think you paint the best you should still join in. Anything you paint is fine as long as it sticks to at least a 3 color standard.
