How come Cleanse is 6 inches from the center of the board and Nightfight doesn't have such a rule?

I would imagine it should be 12 inches from the center in nightfight to go along with the 24 inches away for deployment.

Sadly this isn't the case, and there is still the infamous pushback unit working in full effect.

Am I missing errata somewhere?  I thought this was fixed.

What "Nightfight" are you talking about? I don't see such a mission in the 4th edition rulebook (even the extended missions). Am I missing it?

It's pg 191 if I'm not mistaken.  Its in the special missions section along with patrol.

Well you're right. But the problem is that the special missions in the back of the book generally are direct ports of the 3rd edition versions, so many of the 4th edition changes (like the 6" from the center rule) aren't included. Some of the special missions also have some glaring typos too.

In short, if you're going to use the special missions, you may want to introduce some of the 4th edition mission conventions back into them if you and your opponent agree.
