I've been out of the Warhammer loop for a while (a lot of good things that take priority), but there's a chance that I might be able to get a game in per week now. So, when looking at my Guard and comparing them to the Guard on GW's site, it looks like the new 8th Edition Guard codex is out, but the picture on the cover looks like the same one from 6th Edition. So, I can't really tell. Is the 8th Edition AM/IG codex out?

Almost all of the 8th Edition codex covers are the same art as 7th so it can be confusing.

If you get the codex not sure if you know about the cards. You might want your AM cards as well. Hope that helps.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.
Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Since all pre-8th codexes have been removed from sale due to being completely incompatible with the current edition, it's pretty easy to tell which factions have a codex just by checking the GW website.
