I love the look of 40k way more than I love playing 40k. I love the idea of having a battle table full of scenery and all my units made up to make them look like they're in the middle of a battle (stuff you might see in the codex). Honestly, i think I'd rather just make these than play the game XD (like those guys who set up the entire battle of Waterloo in their basements). If I could I'd even just make an entire accurate marine temple to just have all my troops look like they're training and praying and stuff when I'm not using them. Unfortunately, right now, I don't have the space so I'll just have to deal with looking at other peoples's tables. Does anyone else feel the same way I do? And do you have or know of any pictures of these battle fields (maybe a big resources of them to give me inspiration when I eventually make the room).

You love the T-Rex. Its both a hero and a Villain in the first two movies. It is the "king" of dinosaurs. Its the best. You love your T-rex.
Then comes along the frakking Spinosaurus who kills the T-rex, and the movie says "LOVE THIS NOW! HE IS BETTER" But...in your heart, you love the T-rex, who shouldn't have lost to no stupid Spinosaurus. So you hate the movie. And refuse to love the Spinosaurus because it is a hamfisted attempt at taking what you loved, making it TREX +++ and trying to sell you it.

I've always loved this diorama: https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-dkDG_XGF_lk/VmiPb8NWbSI/AAAAAAAAC-Y/aMlyY-2CRck/s1600/heresyendgame.JPG

Maybe you could create a whole scenery in the Horus ship, with Custodes, the Emperor, the Black legion, Horus, etc. It would be awesome! (in my opinion of course)

Where in the UK are you?
Looks like you better get yourself to Warhammer World in Nottingham or just type 'Warhammer World Diorama' into Google images.

In the meantime you can make shoebox or smaller sized dioramas with the thought to add them to something larger at a later date.

Also 'GMM Studios' has some great display boards.
