I want to use my plethora of Space Hulk Genestealers. I want to have some heavy backup, so either a baneblade, or an IG Spearhead.

I'm guessing it's better to use Tyranid Kraken Fleet 'Stealers than Cultists for that better first turn charge.

Swapout options: I do have an old Hive Tyrant I can use as a swarmlord - not sure if it'd be better than the two broodlords.
I have a combo of 3 Leman Russ Batlte tanks, 1 LR Demolisher, 2 Quad Mortars, 1 basilisk and 5 Rapiers to replace the Baneblade if need be.

Thoughts? Clearly there's not a lot of dedicated Anti-Tank besides the Baneblade and Stealer claws. Air will be a problem, for sure.

I would reduce the number of genestealers in the tyranid part of your army to fit in some venomthropes to provide cover. With their cover ability and the broodlords casting The Horror, will definitely hamper the enemies gunfire enough

How are you getting the 'stealers in a first turn charge without tunnels/transport?

GSC Stealers can use the Cult Ambush table for deepstriking. There are 6 different possibilities so you roll a 1D6 and compare that number to what is on the table.

Tyranids Stealers can 1st turn charge via Kraken and their own ruling(advance and charge). Kraken let's you roll 3 dice for your advance and you can pick the highest dice and can then spend 1CP to double that value e.g. Stealers move 8 natural, you roll 3 dice for your advance, say you get 2, 5 and 6, well you would (obviously) pick the 6 to give you a 14" movement but you could also double that 6 to become 12" which means you get 20" movement and can still charge via their own rules.

He might not necessarily get 1st turn charges right off the bat but he has a high possibility in getting those charges if he goes 1st and knows what he is doing while playing.

For the Tyranid Kraken Fleet Stealers, On average dice, 25" charge threat range with Kraken Stealers, boosted to ~42" if Swarmlord is in play to buff a unit to allow it to move+advance (bonus would still apply) again in the shooting phase (still not sure if it's worth swapping the two broodlords for pricey Swarmy).

Genestealer Cult Purestrain Stealers get to pop up from anywhere and are able to charge after popping up on some Ambush results (Primus increases those chances). With the attached Primus and 1 CP, pretty much guaranteed a charge (essentially needing a 5+ on any of 6 dice).
