tbh, this is a powerful psychic spell that punishes those who use Marine Scouts and deployed them "too far forward", because the Deepstrikers can use this spell to jump over the scout screen and charged into Tanks / Devastators behind. The opponent would have to choose: either risk their big guns being silenced early on, or give up broad control.
