It seems like I got this guy forever ago, but I finally got him painted up. I went with yellow to match my other daemons: yellow daemons work well with Iron Warriors in my mind.

Also, I have too much red on the table already via my Blood Ravens.

Pretty straightforward model in terms of painting. I tried 2 trick paints on this one: Blood for the Blood God on the mouth and wounds, and Nurgle's Rot on the teeth. Both pretty good paints if you don't overuse them IMO, but I'm a sucker for a gimmick.

I greatly regret that I didn't quite realize one of those spines was broken, rather than being short - it wasn't until I was cropping the photos for upload here that I caught that. I might fix it, but I might not.
