I wonder if the mini-knights are meant to be taken in pairs?

as it does seem a bit odd to have two in the box, might explain the slightly unexpected LoW slot

The place i'm pre-ordering from has been told the 24th by their GW rep

although I suspect they won't get all that the ask for immediately based on what's happened with previous popular releases

Buy a second set and sell some of that?

BoLS points out that there is no sprue A (the weapon sprue is B) for the mini Knights

and there are 2 heads in the instructions not present in the sprues in the box set (they show the image if you want to see them)

so as people have speculated it looks like there will be a separate release with an alternate (or extra) weapon sprue

(sorry no link as it's crashing my browser at the moment, typical BoLS)

Probably stops answering the phone when the stock for the new stuff runs out

after all the only reasons to call rather than put in a standard order is to beg for extra

(doesn't stop it being a crummy way to handle it though, they should be prepared to say Nope, all gone, and any extras are for stores ordering more normal stock and then get shouted at)

Or a lot of private sellers are keeping both since the discount's so good,

especially since neither side is marines like a traditional starter, most folk have got marines so the old stuff from that side of box tends to be something people have already decided they want (and so have) or don't want (and so are happy to sell)

with 2 more uncommon forces it's a lot easier to say, i'll just keep them, I might start another 2 armies
