The title says it all, Infantry for the Emperor!

The article takes a look at the many benefits that can be gained from going infantry only in an Astra Militarum list...

In My Lab

Article is meh. Doesn't really have a lot of solid information, other than obvious things.

Clocks for the clockmaker! Cogs for the cog throne!

Thanks for the feedback, but what is obvious to one person is not obvious to all.

If you have new/other ideas I will happily take them into consideration.

Is this another of those posts that wants to drive clicks to their blog?

If you want to have a discussion on Dakka, post what you want to talk about. Control C, Control V, isn't hard.

Doing anything else just makes it seems like you're fishing, and following links to non reputable sites on the internet is a big no-no.

Hi

Driving clicks? I am not bothered. Just sharing content that is real content and not clicks or rumour bait.

I cannot say if the site is considered reputable or not. I think it is, its 4 years old, has SSL and posts real content.

I could Copy and Paste into the forum, but forums (I find) are horrid on mobile for readers and I think its OK to give users a more enjoyable reading experience where the format is controlled and matches how the editor wanted it to be consumed.

Also, Copy and Pasting will remove all the images, headings and other bits of formatting - so it's not a 2-second job to do it well.

Jake

P.s. mod: please delete it this content is not welcome and we can all move on.

Probably work

Okay.

Blog links absent any other information are considered poor form because they're not starting a conversation here. It's like smearing a billboard on someone else's property.

You have no threads here that aren't advertisements for your blog. You have literally made zero posts here that aren't directly pertaining to your articles on your blog. Typically the OP in your threads has all the content of one of the russian viagra or free tv spammers that pop up here from time to time, except that your links go to a wargamining related blog. You are literally not a part of the community here; you're just using it as your comments section.

Copy / paste of the content shouldn't show your other images / headers / formatting, but honestly, your pictures aren't illustrative, your formatting has too much white space, and I, at least, would consider those first two perks enough to say that it's worth losing your headers. Further, it's considered polite to copypaste because it makes it look like it's at least an effort to be part of the community. Truth is that you're not giving anyone a reason to WANT to read your blog, and not subtracting from the reasons not to. Hell, if you want the site traffic, even just spot pick a couple of the more interesting points and then say that the rest is present at <insert link here>.

That is blunt, but I've had this window open for about 25 minutes trying to find a more sensitive way to phrase it, and I can't.

And, I mean, you look like you do have some neat stuff. I glanced at a couple of the tools you have. They're really pretty cool.

I'm not trying to say that you suck or anything like that. I'm just trying to explain why you see reactions like that.

Understood, I will take the advice on board. And thanks for having a bit of a poke about my blog.
