I was searching to see if there were any discounts or coupons that are active for GW. Does anybody know of any? Are those sites that say they give coupons legit?

Gw doesn't do discounts.
outside of the occasional box sets.
The best you are going to do is maybe 20ish% off an online retailer. more during some sort of holiday.
Alternatively get in bed with a retailer direct for that sexy 40%.

Pretty much this. Outside of the "Start Collecting" boxes where you basically get the character for free GW don't do sales or discounts.
I'm pretty sure online retailers are no longer allowed to offer more than 15% off retail or be at risk of losing stocking rights.
Other US based players may be able to give you a list of popular choices but The War Store is a popular US one that I know of that stock most of the range at 15% off

Oh forgot about Ebay.
Second hand models can go for almost 50-60% off at times.
if you see forgeworld coming out of Russia china Germany(?) or some other east of Europe places then 99% sure its a recast
