I'm thinking about putting together some noise marines but using the FW kakophoni sonic blasters. I don't want to pay the £38+shipping for the kit because I already have some marines I can use, I just want the guns, so I turned to google to see if I could find a bitz store that sells just the guns: that's where I came across BlackLegion.market.
Now 2 warning lights went up here:
1. The quality of cast in the picture looks a bit dodgy but I know the base block isn't always a perfectly cast and you can't see the actual guns too well.
2. The price is pretty cheap for a set of FW guns but maybe selling the bitz separably adds up.
Can anyone who's done business on this site say one way or the other?
-=Edit=- Removed the link to the site. Almost certainly a recaster, and we don't want to link any business to them. - Lorek

There's more than 2 warning lights there for me.
The website is a generic template with contact info and stuff missing, not a very well established presence.
Looking at a plastic kit on there, it says "resin kit" which makes me think this is a recaster site.
I don't think this is a bitz site. But check out Egghead Miniatures for genuine bitz.

Firstly, absolutely dodgy, in the sense of not selling original product anyway, the degree of risk making a purchase is not any higher than most other online retailers in general.
Secondly, its kosher.

Are you saying that all online shops that sell 40k bits are dodgy?
Secondly, its kosher.
Aye, I never was good with spelling.

Wait so it is kosher or is it dodgy ...

Pretty unanimous then, I assumed as much: was just hoping I was wrong and it really was just someone who sold FW bitz for a ridiculously low price.

No one sells FW for a ridiculously low price. FW sells FW for what they want, there are no resellers.

Their payment system is thoroughly jacked up at the moment too. Getting security header errors and the paypal API isn't even attempting to show the login page.
They're either still setting the site up (reasonable considering the default template) or they're broken / doing something nasty.
I would be very cautious.
