So, I'm moderately color-blind. I can usually paint by technical merit and if I have a list of the names of the colors involved, figure out what goes where. The problem is looking at a paint job and knowing what the names of the colors are.

Can anyone help me come up with a list of the colors used on the Eisenhorn mini? Or, at least, a close approximation?

The paint job I'm referring to is this one:

And, thanks.

You mean the name of the paints used, or just the general color?

There's a 40k app that has some painting that may be useful for some models - just checked though and it's not updated with eisenhorn yet. its called Citadel Paint App.

I dont know all the Citadel Paint names, but i can list the colors:

Outside of his coat: Black with Grey edging
Inside of coat: Crimson with red Edging
Inside 2nd coat (coat inside the coat?) - Dark Brown (includes his chest area)
Pants: Greyish Blue with looks like light blue dry-brush and darker blue wash.
Shoes: Brown with Light Brown edging.
Shoulder-Pads - Greenish Blue
Hair - Dark Grey/Grey
Canister(?) in hands/back - Greenish Blue with Gold Trim.
Gun/Staff: Silver with Gold Trim.
Coat Collar: Crimson with a dark wash, then pink edging.

Anything specific i missed or you need specified, just ask.

I was hoping for color names, but I think that should give me something close enough that i can work within my paint range with.

Thank you.

I think the canister may contain his daemonhost.

thats actually his force sword IIRC. I seem to recall hearing he had a lightsaber style power sword

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

Its an Inquisitorial Scroll case.

The sword is attached to his belt, on his left side. Its a sabre, as in long thin sword, rather than a lightsaber.

I think the shoulder pads are more of a jade green, myself... And the highlights on the red parts are more salmon than pink, though that might be nitpicking.

As to the actual colour names, the box should help with that, it mentions most of the important colours. Ie, shoulder pads are Incubi Darkness, Kabalite Green, Sybarite Green followed by a White Scar highlight.
As to some stuff SirWeeble may have missed: The Malus Codicium (book on his belt) is red with gold trim, the Inquisition sigil on his base is red with a yellow/ochre trim (skull is white), Cherubaels skull is red and black, with yellow/orange insides (black-> red-> orange-> yellow, the further you get inside),

I had seen those names on the box, but I wasn't honestly sure what their descriptors meant. The stuff like "green armor" was particularly confusing, because those shoulderpads are the weirdest looking things to me. I literally see no green in them whatsoever. They're like kind of a vague blue-grey to me.

That's good though. Thanks for filling in the gaps.
