I'm planning a custom captian (chapter master) for my new space marines army, Iron Hands Successor chapter.

Using a mixture of Centurion, Aggressor, and Lugft Huron bitz. I know its gonna look beastly and my wallet's going to take a hit.
Just felt like sharing my idea.

Hopefully I can somehow manage an action pose with the aggressor body. The centurions will provide the head and left arm of the model while Lugft will supply the pimp hand...i mean Lightning Claw.
I may or may not add a cape from my spare primaris captain.

Let me know what you all think or that its a gak idea.

For complicated conversions I always look around on bits sites, ask at clubs/stores, ebay, swap shops, split the cost of the box with someone who want something else from it and anywhere else before buying the full kits.
If I am forced to buy a full kit then I will try my hardest to recoup as much cost as possible by selling off any remaining bits on ebay.
It's possible to get your bits for very cheap or even free if the remainders sell well.
NEVER under any circumstance should you keep those extra models with the thought that one day you could add to them and make a new army! That way madness lies.

Yeah bits sites and ebay helps alot

I converted a munda team using kits from a
rust stalker kit 46 (legs arms guns and heads)
skittari starter 85 (various heads legs and arms)
cultists kit from dark vengeance 20ish (bodies)
objective box 35 (surgeons lamp)
kroot kit 36 (heads and guns)
dark elf caldron of blood 75 (two dark elf bodies)
Munda bases 6
Cadian shock troops 29 (packs and a single grenade launcher)
ironguts 40 (two grots)
if i had bought all of that for the 10-12 doods of my army it would of been 372.

thank god i spent no where near that

Expensive conversions are why my Exodites project is on the back burner. I've got loads of relatively straight-build kits to do, but I want some freaky space elves dammit!
