General head banging has come up with this as a plan
- x20 warrior in with cruel each , to move up board stalker hitting for re-roll 1s.
- praetorians to jump in front of anything that warriors not going to deal with
- szeras to buff one set of wraiths (hope for both, but would require in not being used for counter) plus my only 36' option. With my few scarabs surrounding 'as my lord of war/ boss'
- immortals to hold markers
-waiths to pack hunt together to get behind get there prize units/range units

Not got any destroyers. Or any flyers. Got most HQs. Transport. Vault. Night bringer and vines dude.2x sypers (old type). 5x Lyne guard. 15 praetorians. 3x tomb blade.
Question - warsysce hurts more but should I use rod? For defence from flyers. And take more scarabs, to surround warriors or go off with wraiths.
Just hoping to kill a unit in each battle really, or come close to a win.
Hey man, looks like you know what you want to do. I think a lot of folks are sort of skeptical of the Praetorians, but I haven't used them myself so I don't know. If you can swap t hat Stalker's weapon for a Twin Heavy Gauss Cannon, that should help some with anti-tank, which is definitely lacking in this list.
If you think you can consolidated the Immortals into a single x10 unit, that's probably preferable for RP and drop count.

I have used them (praetorians) in a friendly against chaos demons and they did not pull there weight. They seem like they should be good as they move well and hit hard, could do with a invol.
What would you replace them with ? Night bringer and more scarabs or something else
Looking at leaked codex this could be first and last outing for wraiths:(

Illuminor Szeras can't buff Wraiths. He can only buff Warriors and Immortals. Also, Praetorians can't take Warscythes. It's either voidblade + pistol or the Rods. Lychguard are the units that can use Warscythes or Sword n Shield.
Crypteks are also 104pts not 86pts. Unless you are using the "beta" codex which wouldn't be allowed due to it not being officially released. You could be disqualified from the tournament if your using a list based on the "beta" codex.

Praetorians got hammered with out an invo they got slammed
Wraith took the focus of first turns mostly hit with defX and then destroyed. When they were in combat only 1dmg just didn't do enough.
Warrior only have one round of shooting then tied up in combat and smashed.
Scarabs did well, as they could.
1st round 3 tanks . Charged them straight down my neck. Could not do the damage
2nd demon chaos , magiced and had to lay down
3rd dogs and demons . Just a few dogs but men were tired.
But it was a stiff competition. 1 nationally ranked and 2 others regional. Only 6 of us as snow scared off the others. So there was very well used list and know what to do. Hard first outing.
