Looking for some resident AdMech players.

I've got Forgefiend on order and looking to make a small Sniper Themed Battalion.

Can anyone who has played them and played around with the sprues advise if I can modify any of the standard Ranger/Vanguard models into Transuranic Arquebus besides the one standard model in the kit.

Thinking about running 3/4 min sized squads with 2 in each but don't want to buy 6/8 full units for the sprues.

I'm fairly confident with plasticard and bodging models when needed, so I don't mind a bit of re-engineering if needed.
