So I have gotten a Forge World Manta about ready to be at the step for cleaning the "release agent" or grease, and loose flash off the bigger pieces. I have done some reading and gotten to the idea of what to do. Which is basically fill up a container proally a tub for me with room temp. water and put in soap degreaser and scrub down each piece in water and let them soak over night. The question I have is.

Is this accurate to those that have some experience and would care to share your own tips or ways of cleaning the forge world resin.

Accurate as to how to remove the "grease" yes.

I dont know how big the manta is but soak over night sounds overkill.
Biggest stuff i have bought from FW are dreads and aslong as i scrubb it nicely with a toothbrush, it wont leave shiny spots on the primer.

Oh and some of the mold release is resistant to normal cleaning methods - I've had to use toothpaste on some bits to remove the shiny patches - because even etching primers would refuse to stick to it.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

Thanks for the info, and the manta is 3x2 ft more or less once assembled. I am gonna start the clean up tuesday as that day I will have the time to do so.
