Your buffmamder isn't contributing a lot and would be better off veing offensive.
Pathfinders need cover or more high threat units to have any survivability and they are an obvious choice for anti infantry fire those broadsides are looking prime for a first turn removal before they do anything.

Buffmander is cheap and his drone controller buffs 9 sniper drones and 4 marker drones. His CNC node makes riptide a killing machine, so I"ll disagree with you on that point. Also, he can actually contribute to the firebase with TU, D in a way that quadfusion cant. Suicidal quad fushion is great but not sure a third is the direction I want to take.

Firesight marksmen are 25 points each because of their pulse pistols!

I think it is slightly overboard on marker lights. I would get rid of the buffmander, add another broadside with the drone controller. give the warlord trait and relic to a fireblade.

In xv 8 your limiting your riptides movement after turn 1 as he can outpace the commander. Though advancing could narrow this gap.
But you would lose the drone controler buff on the drones and TUD
A branched nova HBC riptide is a machine I'll agree and CNC node will bump him up but 6inchs leaves you tied to the riptide.


You have 4 marker drones and 3 pulse accelerator drones thats 7 wounds that all have to be with 3 inches to perform a 2+ save and if needs be they can be targeted out before I bring the heavy weapons to the boradsides as dones are annoyingly targetable units.
